Sociodemographic profile and distribution of Spotted Fever cases per brazilian region between the years 2008 and 2017

This study aims to identify the clinical and sociodemographic characteristics of Spotted Fever in Brazil between 2008 2017. A descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional with a quantitative approach that used as source data Sistema de Informação Agravos Notificação (SINAN) available public database Departamento Informática do Único Saúde (DATASUS), adopting following variables within pre-established period: Region Notification, Sex, Age Group, Evolution, Infection Zone, Schooling, Environment Infection, Confirmation Criteria. fever was prevalent Southeast region country, although underreporting is reality other regions. The most affected population male, economically active, living rural areas, incomplete primary education. Thus, epidemiological surveillance fundamental, especially endemic "silent" regions for notification disease.
